Our all-star team has each spent decades working in many countries, acquiring numerous skills
and experiences, and honing their specialization.

Katja Ruethemann

CEO & Founder of RevStar

Katja is the Founder and CEO of RevStar. She specializes in facilitating growth and profitability by combining revenue management, strategic marketing and streamlined operations.

Katja has two decades of experience with multinational hotel chains and boutique hotels across Europe and Asia. Combining her passions for numbers and analytics, and extensive educational certifications from the industry.

Her visionary approach led to the founding of RevStar, where she prioritizes creativity and growth for her clients above all else.


Sales and Marketing

Very few sales and marketing professionals showcase extensive experience in one sector. 

With over twenty years in the hospitality and services industry, Deer has been at the forefront helping brands such as Hilton, The Minor Group and Sheraton Hotels achieve their sales results and targets.

Deer’s extensive marketing network comprises of PR agencies, travel partners, MNCs and government agencies. Most of her industry connections stem from the many successful joint campaigns Deer has driven for key stakeholders in achieving brand and sales targets.


Revenue Strategy

Steve is the Senior Revenue Manager at RevStar, and brings over two decades of experience in the hospitality sector. His love for numbers and analytics saw him dedicate nearly 15 years in revenue management and total revenue strategy. 

His impressive roster includes Marriott, Anantara + Avani, The Ritz Carlton, Hard Rock Hotels and The Four Seasons, to name a few. 

Steve is the winner of the MINOR Award of Hotel Revenue Management Innovation Award in 2016, Total Hotel Revenue Award in 2018 and MINOR Extraordinary Achievement Award in 2018.


Revenue, Reservations & Sales

Adam, the youngest member of the executive team specializes in reservations, revenue and sales. With every project he undertakes, his sole focus remains on increasing occupancy and driving revenue.

With more than a decade in the hospitality sector, Adam attributes his success to several proving grounds, namely, Vakarufalhi Island Resort, Baros Maldives, Anantara Resorts and Spas, Soneva Resorts, Six Senses Laamu and Kanuhura.

Adam uses his wealth of experience to drive revenue strategy by streamlining operations, reservations and sales.
